"Worship is the 'thank you' that refuses to be silenced." - Max Lucado

Our Worship in the summer is every Sunday at 10:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary. The first Sunday of June, July and September we will worship outside (weather permitting).  We will also be outside on Sunday, August 12 for our Annual Church picnic.   Childcare is available for infants through 4 years old in our Nursery.  Our Sunday School Program for all ages and is focusing on "The Story" this year. We invite you to join us anytime!

Sundays, 10:00 am - Traditional Worship

Worship is our central focus at Parkwood Church. It is a time when we come together to give thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ and for the abundant blessings God has bestowed upon us. We are a proud member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A), and as such, our liturgy follows the guidelines for worship set forth in the Book of Order. Our traditional worship service is filled with prayer, the reading of Scripture, a children's message, and a morning message from our pastor. It also includes dynamic musical performances by our chancel choir, bell choir and youth choir. Even our youngest in worship participate by playing the Krystal Bells on a regular basis. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.

Sundays, 9:30 AM - Sunday School and Monday evening small group at 7:00 PM

Our Sunday School program is on hiatus for the summer.  But we are looking forward to focusing on the book "Love Does" beginning in September.  We will also provide a bible study during the Sunday School hour.  This is a program for all ages.  Everyone meets in Fellowship Hall at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings and watch the opening video and then split into age appropriate classes.  There is also a Monday Evening class that meets at 7:00 pm.  All are welcome to attend and can come in and out of the class as your schedule permits.  We hope you will join us!

Wednesdays, 9:30 am - Praying with Parkwood

Every Wednesday morning throughout the year we meet in the sanctuary and pray for our church, our community, our country. Each week there will be a prayer topic that we will concentrate on but we will also pray for those who attend and their needs, and for those who are listed on our weekly prayer list. All are invited to come and feel the power of prayer in their lives. If you cannot make it to the church, we would encourage you to pray each Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM wherever you are so as to join in our prayers for Parkwood. More>>
